Hey! Now is the time where we have decide what were going to do after we graduate, so it’s been kind of hectic at least for me. So I apologize for the infrequent posts, but I’m trying my best to keep you guys up to date with all the new things happening for all your favorite bands. If you haven’t noticed, I have posted a few new music videos including Paramore’s new video “Decode,” which I must say is an amazing song. We also have a new featured band, Sing It Loud, who I decided to choose after seeing them live on the Sassyback tour.

On another note, Silence Is Arson needs new staff members to help run the site and keep it more updated. So if you’re interested please email me at tamlyn@silenceisarson.com and I’ll be sure to get back to you. Keep in mind I’ll be gone till Tuesday, so it may take me awhile to get back to you, but I promise I will.

Thanks!

~Tamlyn

Hey everyone! It’s Caroline here. Well, actually, we can change that to Fruitbomb. Why? Well, Tamlyn and I headed up to Marysville early yesterday morning to go to Warped Tour. Warped Tour is coming to the end of it’s tour now [only one stop left after today!], but we were very fortunate to get to spend some “quality time” with the wonderful bands. Among them were Family Force 5 (where my nickname originated), Every Time I Die, The Devil Wears Prada, All Time Low, Gym Class Heroes, and 3oh!3. We caught up with those bands for video interviews, which will be up in the next couple of days, so check back!

Besides six interesting, to say the least, interviews, we also had time to run around and photograph quite a few of the bands. All the bands that were interviewed, we managed to capture live, as well as many others. Those pictures will also be up within the week, however our photo section is currently under construction. No worries, it’s only to bring you a better experience when viewing our photos, instead of being routed to another page.

All in all, we had a wonderful experience and we cannot wait for next year’s Warped Tour! We would like to thank Bethany for being so patient and friendly when working with press, Family Force 5, Every Time I Die, The Devil Wears Prada, 3oh!3, Gym Class Heroes, and All Time Low for taking the time to sit down and talk, and last, but not least, the entire Warped Tour crew for even making this kind of a tour a possibility.

-Caroline “Fruitbomb”

Hey everyone, it’s Caroline here. I made a post about a month ago that I was going to be on vacation and, well, that vacation is now coming to a close in about a week. So I was just letting the internet world know that in a weeks time I’ll be available for pictures, interviews, and the like, in the Bay Area again. For the past month I’ve been in Norway, and before that in Denmark, which I’ll be returning to tomorrow for another week.

While I was in Norway I was lucky enough to get to sit down and chat with Sondre Lerche (a Norwegian “singer-songwriter”), and ended up with a fantastic interview (which will be posted within the next couple of days) and a great concert experience.

Also, I’ve been fortunate enough to discover lots of new, European music. So, for the month of August, I will be solely concentrating on giving you music from other places than the U.S., in the spirit of traveling.

If you have any albums you would like reviewed or pictures taken or articles written, don’t hesitate to email me at: caroline@silenceisarson.com
