“Hellmouth is bombs, death, unemployment, corruption, sex and politics. Hellmouth is both anti-christ and anti-human.” The online biography sums it up; Hellmouth is an adrenaline rush of music that makes your heart pound with excitement. Their newest album Destroy Everything, Worship Nothing is an extreme mix of metal and a dash of punk, creating sounds that slice through our ear drums and head straight for the cerebral cortex. What else could be expected when dealing with a band from Detroit? With some tracks only lasting seconds, they don’t lack the same terrifying sounds that the other songs defiantly posses. The stand out tracks on the album would be “Pick A Coffin” and “God’s Forgotten Children”. They throw blows of unexpected drum beats and gut busting guitars; although the album as a whole is pretty destructive in itself. Its a must buy, and a great album to blast while in traffic.
