Album Review: Keane-Perfect Symmetry
Keane’s new album “Perfect Symmetry,” takes a whole new direction than their first set of albums. Going down a much more mature route and the music is more deeper and in greater detail than their last records. The music is more mellow and more melodic and melody feeling from start to finish. Keane have out done themselves extremely when it comes to this album. Blowing away 11-tracks of soft mellow driven fast pacing piano riffs with blasting easy-listening drumming goes hand in hand when the vocals come in. The vocals are done well and brought out creatively well and take over when each tune is played through. Some tracks that stood out the most includes: “The Lovers Are Losing,” “Pretend That Your Alone,” and Black Burning Heart.” Each of these three tunes goes off into its own ordeal and combines a sensation unlike anything else you’ve heard from a rock band such as these guys can bring fourth. Keane’s easy going rock brings out a more mellow easy-going person out of you putting your body and mind at rest after you’ve listened to either this album or their older material. Either way Keane bring out that happy go lucky feeling which spreads wildly like wild fire sending nothing but pure happiness throughout this “Perfect Symmetry.”
