Album Review: Bring Me the Horizon-Suicide Season

Bring Me the Horizon brings forth their second LP effort “Suicide Season,’ and this is the right time for it since it goes swell since its currently cold season/flu season anyway why not add some fun out-going suicide to top it all off? I’d have to say ‘why the hell not?” Bring Me the Horizon’s follow-up to their previous recording “Count Your Blessings,” (2006) is a total upgrade having the music in itself be more aggressive and heavier than their previous workings which blows their 2006 effort away into the dust. “Suicide Season,” has 10 killer ripping tracks that makes you definitely want to aim towards the suicidal route but don’t head down that road just yet. Why not give “Chelsea Smile,” “It Was Written In Blood,” and “Death Breath,” and “Sleep with One Eye Open,” a shot before placing that gun to your head. These arrangement of tracks presented off this aggressive record truly delivers and expresses Bring Me the Horizon at a whole another level of talents both musically and lyrically. The lyrics brought onto this record have a true meaning and show what the band goes through in their everyday lifestyle and how they can express themselves so well when transferring it onto a song let alone a whole album. That shows how much experience and effort these guys can give when they really put their hearts and souls into the matter. Giving ‘Suicide Season,” a good vibration and ranking of which makes you not want to go down the path of depression after all.
